Zebra Plant
Zebra plant is a tropical plant from Brazil that is widely admired and grown as an indoor houseplant, prized for its great foliage and showy flowers. Zebra plant's large, pointed leaves are a deep, glossy green with bright silvery veins that create a striped appearance. When the plant flowers, usually in the late summer or autumn, it bears an 8" golden flower bract that lasts for up to 6 weeks.
Zebra plants prefer bright, filtered light. Do not expose the plant to direct sunlight. Rich, organic potting soil should be used when planting. Never allow the compost to dry out; use lukewarm water to keep soil temperature elevated and mist frequently during the growing season. Hardiness zones range from 10-11.
