Salvia
Heat-tolerant, chill-tolerant, drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and impervious to pests and disease — salvia remains unfazed by all these conditions and continues to bloom beautifully in the garden! Salvia blooms for a long period of time and provides a variety of bloom shapes, color, and fragrance. These plants also attract butterflies and pollinators, which are always a treat for the garden.
Salvias prefer full sun and well-drained soil. Keep soil moist throughout the growing season. Allow soil to dry out between waterings to ½ an inch deep. Hardiness zones range from 5-9.
