Rose Miracle on the Hudson®
Type: Shrub
Winner of the 2014 Biltmore International Rose Trials Competition, "Miracle On The Hudson" is an exceptional shrub named in honor of Captain Sullenberger, the crew and passengers of U.S. Airways Flight 1549 for which the incident became known as "Miracle on the Hudson". This flowering shrub showcases brilliant red flowers from spring to fall, and will reach a height of 3'-5' once matured.
Miracle on the Hudson® should be planted in fertile, well-drained soil and in a location that receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day. Newly planted roses require regular watering until established. Water deeply when you plant it and whenever the top 3 inches of soil are dry to encourage deep roots. Hardiness zones range from 5-8.
