Hydrangea Tesselaar Tuxedo®
It’s easy to see why this hydrangea Tuxedo® series stands out. The flowers are big, lushly bold and cover a majority of the plant, but it’s the foliage of the Tuxedo® hydrangeas which is really the hero. The deep purple/black-flushed leaves make anyone do a double-take which means these hydrangeas look brilliant in the garden even when they’re not in full bloom.
In the home treat hydrangea Tuxedo® like a house plant, watering it every second day. Hydrangeas need regular watering, but once established, a little does go a long way. It prefers a partially shaded location and if possible, an alkaline (pH 7.0) crumbly textured, free-draining soil that’s rich in organic matter. These hydrangeas are hardy in USDA zone 6 and above.
