Gaura
Growing gaura, also known as beeblossom, provides a background plant for the garden that gives the impression of butterflies flitting in the breeze. The plant ranges from 15"-4' tall. It blooms year-round, with flowers that are white, pink, or a combination of the two. Use these long-blooming, wispy perennials in sunny gardens or containers to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
Plant gauras into a full sun area with rich, organic soil and deep drainage. These plants are drought-tolerant once established, consequently, little care of gaura is needed. Hardiness zones range from 5-9.
